Provider terms

These terms are a draft and are being reviewed by a lawyer. They describe how listing works today and may change before they're final.

1. Listing is non-exclusive

You can list the same API anywhere else. We don't ask for exclusivity. You may not use fourzerotwo to move customers off another marketplace in breach of that marketplace's terms.

2. Your rights to the data

You confirm you have the right to offer the API and its data for paid use by others. You may not list data that is scraped in breach of a site's terms, or an API you access through another marketplace (for example a RapidAPI listing you don't own) without its owner's written permission.

3. You are the supplier

When an agent calls your endpoint, you supply the service to that buyer. You are responsible for your own taxes, including VAT or sales tax on what you sell. We name you as the supplier in payment requirements and listings.

4. Acceptable use

  • No personal-data dossiers or profiling of private individuals.
  • No illegal content, malware, or content that infringes anyone's rights.
  • No instructions aimed at AI agents in names, descriptions, parameters or responses.
  • No impersonating another company or brand. Brand names need a verified domain.

5. Review, monitoring and suspension

Every version is reviewed before it goes live (automatically, and by a person for first versions and risky changes). We monitor live endpoints and may unpublish, roll back or suspend a listing, immediately and without notice, if it breaks these terms, fails monitoring, or is reported and we find a problem.

6. Payments

Buyers pay per call in USDC over x402, directly to your pay_to wallet. We never hold your money. Card credit sold by fourzerotwo is only spent on fourzerotwo's own endpoints, not on yours.

7. Platform fee

Our fee is 10% of what buyers pay for your endpoints. While on-chain fee splitting isn't available, we record the fee per call and invoice it separately.

8. Ending

You can remove your listing at any time by removing your manifest or asking us. We may end a listing under section 5.
